Geraldine Henderson

Bartow- Geraldine "Jerry" Henderson, 83, died Friday, Jan 11, 2008, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. A native of Umatilla, FL, Mrs. Henderson was a lifelong resident of Bartow. She was co-owner/operator with her husband, Warren Henderson, of Henderson's Grocery in Bartow for many years. Subsequently, she was a nurse for Lakeland Hospital and the Rohr Home in Bartow. In later years, she was an owner/manager of rental properties. She was an avid bowler and gardener, loved to read and was a Nascar fan. She is survived by her son: Sonny Henderson of Orlando; two daughters Sue Rouse of Eagle Lake & Debbie Parrish of Alturas; 13 Grandchildren, 13 great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday Jan 14, 1-2 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00. Contributions may be made to SPCA Shelter, 5850 S.
