Gerald T. Lane

Gerald T. "Jerry" Lane, 57, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from cancer in Bartow. Born December 19, 1951 in Lakeland, Mr. Lane was the son of the late Thurman James and Myra Mae Lane. Mr. Lane was a grocery store manager for Albertson's Grocery Store and Winn Dixie Grocery Stores in Key West for many years. He was Baptist. Mr. Lane moved to Bartow recently from Key West, FL. He is survived by his daughter Sharon & husband Terry Roberts of Bartow, his sister Dorothy & husband David Hallman of Tuscaloosa, AL, two grandchildren; Madison Roberts and Hunter Roberts both of Bartow. Family will receive friends Friday May 22nd from 2 to 3 pm at Whidden-Mclean Funeral Home, Bartow Services will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
