Fort Meade - Gerald Donald LaFerney, age 94, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born December 13, 1929 in Conran, MO to James & Callie LaFerney. Gerald worked as a Maintenance Man for Beecher Community School District in Michigan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred LaFerney and two sisters Daisy Qualls & Roberta Darter and brother Cecil LaFerney. He is survived by his daughters Amber LaFerney of Fort Meade, FL, Susan Dobbs of Fenton, MI and Annette Goss of Flint, MI, sons Steve LaFerney of Holly, MI, Ronnie G. LaFerney of Holly, MI, Michael Goss of Fort Meade, FL, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Services are going to be private.
