Gerald W. "Gerry" Davis

Bartow- Gerald W. Gerry" Davis, age 82, died Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Rohr Nursing Home, Bartow of cancer. Born June 22, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN, Mr. Davis has been a resident of Bartow since 1985, moving from Tampa. Mr. Davis was a retired Chief Warrant Officer with the U.S. Army with 23 years of service in Korea & Vietnam. He was a member of the Bartow First United Methodist Church; the Bartow Lions Club; American Legion Post # 3; & the Military Officers Association of America. He was a member of the Masonic Order; Scottish Rite & Egypt Temple Shrine. He is survived by his wife of 58 yrs, Meromay B. Davis of Bartow; two daughters: Toni R. Vaillancourt & husband Michel of Tampa; Paige Arnold & husband Rainer of Hiawassee, GA.; brother: Daniel Davis & wife Sydney of Orlando, FL; sister: Jean Atteridge of Bremerton, WA. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am at the First United Methodist Church, 310 S.
