Georgette M. Eckhardt

Georgette M. Eckhardt, age 91, passed away from natural causes Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Tampa. Born August 18, 1921 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wirick and Catherine Straub Wirick. Mrs. Eckhardt worked for many years as an office manager for Grants in New York City. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clifford E. Eckhardt. She is survived by her son Clifford C. Eckhardt of Fort Meade, two daughters; Catherine Di-Biasi of Ronkonkoma, NY, Caroleen Naugles of West Palm Beach, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, where the family will receive friends Friday, October 12, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 101 Edgewood Drive in Fort Meade.
