George Junior Spiller

George Junior Spiller 94 of Fort Meade passed peacefully at home on Tuesday February 25, 2020. He was born May 22, 1925 in Carterville, Illinois to Roy Martin and Stella Yates Spiller. He served in the US Marine Corp he was a Machine Operator, Farmer, Coal Miner, Dragline operator and jack of all trades. He was a member of the First Church of God and America Legion Post 23. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ruby Ingersoll Spiller and 5 sons Michael, David, James, Randal and Daniel Scott Spiller. 7 Grandchildren Tara, Jason, Daniel, Alana, Cameron, Zachary Spiller and Amber Doyle, 8 Great grandchildren Alyvia, Destiny, Brody, Kendal, Renee, Madison, Angela and Sharla. He was proceeded in death by parents, brother’s Virgil and Verna sisters Thelma Hill,Ruby Acklin and Wanda Harbough. Family will receive friends for a celebration of life service Friday March 6, 2020 from 5-7 pm at First Church of God 215 S. Perry Ave in Fort Meade, FL.
