George Andrew Jombanis

George Andrew Jombanis, age 89, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born October 31, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Andrerw & Kathryn Mavromatakis Jombanis. George served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal. George moved his family from Illinois to Bartow in 1972. He purchased the Chartrands Motel and then opened his electronics business Quality TV. In his free time George loved to play golf. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Sharon Eastman Jombanis and his grandson George Preston Agner. George is survived by his son Andy Jombanis (Judy), daughter Laura Agner (Daniel), and his two great grandchildren Madelyn Michelle Agner & Daniel Preston Agner. George will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and his deep love for his family.
