He was born on December 25, 1952, in Pánuco de Coronado, Durango, Mexico to Genaro Fernandez and Maria De La Luz Jimenez. He was a Crew Leader in the Agriculture Industry and worked in Construction. He enjoyed drinking, doing yard work, and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Eusebia Fernandez, Jesus Jimenez, and Mica Fernandez. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Sylvia Fernandez, children Enrique Soto, Monica Fernandez, Jessica Estrada and husband Rafael, Felipe Fernandez, and Victor Fernandez, siblings Antonio Fernandez, Cruz Ortiz & Manuel Fernandez, grandchildren Francisco Estrada, Jazlyn Fernandez, Dylan Estrada, Felipe C. Fernandez, Alfonso Estrada, Raymundo Fernandez, and Josefina Fernandez, great grandchild Oliver Estrada, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends and family Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
