Gary Dale Ray

Gary Dale Ray, age 63, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born April 6, 1960 in Waynesville, NC to Charles & Anne Ray. He was a retired Fleet Shop Supervisor for Polk County. Gary loved his family and loved working on trucks and hunting. He is survived by his wife Loretta Ray, son Shane Ray & wife Rhiannon, daughter Heather Walker & husband Scott, brother Jimmy Ray (Lauren), five grandchildren Austin Walker, Addison Walker, Kobe Ray, Paisley Ray and Charlie Ray. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be at Old Elim Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
