Fort Meade - Gary A. McCarty, age 86, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven. He was born on October 23, 1938, in Georgia. He worked as a Millwright . He enjoyed singing, fishing, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva McCarty and son David McCarty. He is survived by his sons Stephen McCarty of Sarasota, FL., and Mark Davis of Hawaii, two daughters, four grandchildren, and ten greatgrandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on 30 Jan. 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade . Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
