Gary Dale Kennedy

Gary "Bonze" Kennedy 52 of Bartow passed away Saturday March 5, 2011 at Lakeland Regional from respiratory failure. A native of Middletown, Ohio he moved to Bartow ten years ago and was a welder with the Layne Christensen Company of Lakeland. Gary especially enjoyed blues music and loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. A loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and coach, he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by one brother Ricky Daryl Kennedy and his father in law David Williams. Gary is survived by his wife of thirty years Tina Kennedy; son Ricky Kennedy and granddaughter Zoey and daughter Brittany Kennedy all of Bartow. His father Floyd Kennedy of Corning, OH; mother Wilda Smith; brother Roger Kennedy both of Middletown, OH and a host of fellow bikers and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday March 9th from 6-8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with Funeral Services to follow on Thursday March 10th at 11am also at the Funeral Home.
