Lakeland - Gary Lee Hawkins, age 63, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2022, at Lakeland Regional Health and Medical Center. He was born on May 29, 1958, in Jackson, Mississippi.. He worked in the Aluminum Building field and as a Construction Worker. He enjoyed playing frisbee, darts and cards as well as watching Marvel and Ice Age movies with his best friend Mike Pienkowski. He loved country music and Willie Nelson was his favorite artist. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcedia Hawkins, father Earl Hawkins, mother Nadine Royal, brother Curtis Hawkins & sister Judith Tyson. He was survived by a loving family that includes his son Jeremy Hodges, brother Bryan Hawkins, sister Stacy Bowen, grandchildren Kailey Hodges, Skyler Hodges, Jaden Hodges, Averie Hodges, great grandchild Matthew Yarbrough, nieces Amanda Tyson, Ashley Tyson, Emily Bowen, Alyvia Wells, Krislynn Tyson, Madilynn Tyson, nephews Noel Gonzalez Jr., Steven Tyson, Joshua Tyson, Justin Baglin, Jacob Bowen, Noel Gonzalez III.
