Lakeland - Gary Green, Sr. "Cat Green" , age 84, passed away October 29, 2023, at Lakeland Regional Health and Medical Center. He was born on October 1, 1939, in Sylacauga , AL. He worked as an Electrician. He enjoyed Alabama Football, fishing, working in his garden and going to yard sales. He was preceded in death by his son Lamar Green, Jr.. He is survived by his wife Mary Green, children William Green, Sherry Green (Butch Bascomb), Kristy Green (Clint Polk ) & Logan Green Curry (Alyssa Knapp), grandchildren Joshua Bascomb, Jessica Curry, Jenna Curry, Adam Curry & Tara Green, great grandchildren Carter Bascomb, Regan Bascomb, Makenna Bascomb, Shyla Ganey, Christian Curry & Lexi Curry. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. The interment will be held at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
