He leaves behind his wife Louise Folks of Lakeland, FL: his son Jeffrey Folks(Rhonda) of Louisburg, NC; his daughters Crystal Bell(Josh) of Bell, FL; Holly Collins of Ft Pierce, FL. Gary leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Brenda Faye Folks McKamie; Martha Francis Anglin Mansfield; and Ann Folks Garrett; Twin Brother Larry Lynn Folks, Gary is proceeded in death by his parents Frank Edwin and Verda Lee Folks; Sisters, Quida Juan Folks Buckingham. Brothers, Frank Edwin Folks Jr.; Earsal Ray Folks; Bobby Jo Folks; Cecil Edwin Folks; Jimmy Carol Folks; Jerry Wayne Folks; and Donnel Folks. After High School, Gary worked many years as a manufacturing supervisor. His favorite hobbies were fishing, fishing, more fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family. He enjoyed researching his ancestry and coordinating family reunions Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
