Garvie Junior Farris, 66, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at his residence in Fort Meade. He was born November 20, 1944 in Lynn, AL. Garvie retired from Mosaic. He moved to Fort Meade from Alabama 47 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mavis Farris of Fort Meade. Three daughters; Sherry Wolven of Cocoa, Yvonne Hancock of Lake Wales and Angela Farris of Fort Meade. Six Brothers, One Sister, Four Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2010. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2010. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.
