Freda Elizabeth Purcell

Freda Elizabeth Purcell 87 passed away Saturday October 2, 2010 at Gulfside Regional Hospice in Zephyrhills, FL. Born in Lexington, Indiana she was lifelong resident of Central Florida moving to Tampa to attend Business College as a young adult. Freda retired from Tampa General Hospital as the Warehouse Inventory Control Supervisor after many years of service. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed painting and the outdoors. Freda was preceded in death by her only child Carrie Wanda Nichols. She is survived by a brother Ivan Gaskins and his wife Margaret of Groveland, FL; a son in law Stephen E. Nichols of Waleska, GA; three granddaughters Tracy Ramsey her husband Harold and son Carson of Wesley Chapel, FL. Kimberly Presley her husband Jeff and daughters Chelsea, Danielle and Molly of Reeltown, AL. Tara Nichols of Waleska, GA. A visitation will be held Friday Oct. 8, 2010 from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street Bartow, FL 33830 with services begining at 11am.
