Fred E. Scarbrough

Fred E. Scarbrough, age 61, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at his home in Bartow. Born October 22, 1955 in Oliver Springs, TN, he was the son of the late Gene and Hazel (Garner) Scarbrough. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a General Manager for Hall Contracting in Clearwater and went on to own and operate Play It Again Juke Box in Bartow. Mr. Scarbrough was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Bartow. Fred is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, of 29 years, Helen Scarbrough of Bartow, his daughter Tianalee Ayala also of Bartow, and his brother Gary Scarbrough (Kathy) of Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4th from 1pm to 2pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
