Frank Joseph Dempsey, Jr.

Fort Meade - Frank Joseph Dempsey, Jr., age 85, passed away July 25, 2024, at his residence in Fort Meade. He was born on August 29, 1938, in Tampa, FL. He was a Preventative Maintenance Technician in the phosphate industry . He enjoyed fishing, gardening and taking care of his rooster, "Little Rooster". He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Dempsey, sister Louise Longbotham and grandson Joseph Keith Dempsey. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Abbie Dempsey of Fort Meade, sons James Dempsey of Fort Meade, Keith Dempsey of Wyoming & Steven Hall of Fort Meade, daughters Patricia Ogborn (Scott) of Lake Placid & Cynthia Randall (William) of Winter Haven, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Hospice or New Beginning Church of God.
