Frank Blackburn

Frank Blackburn, age 76, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 from respiratory failure at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Mr. Blackburn was an U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #3 in Bartow. Mr. Blackburn is survived by his wife Betty Blackburn of Bartow, daughter Brenda Blackburn, stepson Bobby Brewer and wife Peggy, brother John Blackburn, sister Geraldine Forsythe. He also leaves behind five step-children; Carol, Polly, Herb, Richard, and Marie. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, in Bartow, where the family will receive friends Tuesday, July 17th from 6PM to 8PM.
