Frances Williams

Bartow - Frances Williams, age 97, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was born September 23, 1926 in Fort Meade, FL to Carl & Jesse McConnell. Frances was a Law Clerk for the Clerk of Courts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow. Frances was a member of the Bartow Lioness Club and the Bartow Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteered for the Bartow Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Bartow. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather J.T. Brookins, husband Ed Williams and daughter Connie Lee Williams. Frances is survived by her daughter Linda Holcomb of Bartow, son Larry Williams (Steve) of Lakeland, grandchildren Joy Davis Sears, Robbie Davis (DeeAnn), Russ Holcomb (Lisa), Michelle McCarta (Jason), great grandchildren Jessica Davis (Victor), Mary Frances Ella Davis (Nick), Olivia Davis (Dakota), Avery Sears (Sydney), Luke Sears, Faith Holcomb, Justice McCarta, great great grandchildren Delilah Davis, Hendrix Hernandez, Bosun Hernandez and her grand fur baby Bud Holcomb. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00am Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Bartow, 410 East Church Street in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
