Frances A. Braunbeck

Frances A. "Fran" Braunbeck, age 78, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Auburndale. Born October 12, 1937 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Francis A. and Kathleen Harris. Mrs. Braunbeck worked as an office manager for Griffin Grove Services for many years and was a longtime member of Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow. Frances is preceded in death by her first husband George Whyte and her second husband James Braunbeck. She is survived by a loving family that includes nine children: Georgianna Whyte, Bobette Moseley (Ken), Sonya Mincey (Wade), Bonita A. Gay, Sara Whyte, Diane Blair (Danny) Tammy Wheeler (Dennis) Tommy Gay (Mary) and Tim Gay. She also leaves behind her sister Betty Altman, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 21st from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Main Street Baptist Church, 1140 East Main Street Bartow, FL 33830.
