Fountain C. "Cowboy" Gatlin, 77, of Highland City, FL, died Thursday, Jan 14, 2010. from cancer. He was born Sept 26, 1932 in Center Hill, FL. He was a Truck Driver for the Fertilizer Industry and a member of the First Baptist Church of Highland City. He was preceded in death by his wife; Margie Bonita Gatlin. He is survived by his Eight Daughters; Sherry Henry of Eagle Lake, FL, Sharon Kos of Tuba City, AZ, Shirley Dyer of Clarksville, GA, Charlotte Patrick & Ruthie Heathcoe both of Barnsville, GA, Virginia Sherdian of Texas City, TX, Jewel Gatlin of Baltimore, MD and Melissa Peugh of Thomasville, GA. Four Sons; Fountain Gaitlin, Jr., Jeff Gaitlin & Daniel Gatlin all of Barnsville, GA and Henry Gaitlin of Thomasville, GA. One Sister; Wynona Norton of Lakeland, FL and One Brother; Ronald Gaitlin of Sumter County, FL. Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, Jan 18, 2010. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Highland City, 5410 Yaraborough Lane in Highland City at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Jan 19, 2010 . Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
