Floyd H Moore

Floyd H. Moore 70 of Fort Meade passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Tampa General Hospital. Born in Selma, CA he has been a resident of the area for fifty years. He worked as a Electrician in the Phosphate industry locally for 49 years and retired from Mosaic. Floyd was a Army veteran with the 82nd Airborne unit and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed leather working, tinckering in his shop and fishing. Floyd was loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Alma Moore of Tampa. Six children Bobbie Moore, Robbie Moore, David Moore, Floyd Moore Jr., Tippy Moore and Jeanie Moore Taylor all of Polk County. Two brothers Buster and Gary Moore both of Sonora, CA. One sister Gloria Jo Carillo of Sonora, CA. A visitation will be held Thursday, Aug 1st from 5-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with Funeral services to follow on Friday at 11am at the Funeral Home.
