Floyd Kelley

Floyd Kelley, age 80, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Lakeland. Born June 29, 1935 in Haines City, he was the son of the late John Obie and Nettie Louise Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a truck driver for Ben Hill Griffin for many years out of the Bartow plant. Floyd attended Bethany Freewill Baptist Church in Eaton Park. Mr. Kelley is preceded in death by his first wife, Lawreene Kelley. He is survived by his wife Velma Kelley of Bartow, his children: Ray Kelley (Joyce) of Grand Rapids, MN, Tammie Andre' (Robert) of Lakeland, five step children: Carolyn Lavelle, Donna Whitaker, Brenda Kay Loisel, Shelba Deese, and Lawrence Deese, Jr.. He also leaves behind his siblings: Joe Kelley, Robert Kelley, Wayne Kelley, Connie Sue Touchtone, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1st from 2pm to 3pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, Services will immediately follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
