Floyd A. Albritton

Floyd Allen Albritton 62 of Bartow passed away March 6, 2010 from heart failure at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Born in Brewster, FL he was a lifelong resident of the area. He worked as a Pit Gunner for Agrico Phosphate Co. and was a Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. He also was a member of the First Assembly of God in Bartow where he helped in the honoring of veterans by participating in the Church Veterans Day Ceremony. He also loved to fish. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Leland and Opal Albritton and two brothers Frank Johnson and Curtis Lee Albritton. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Deborah Albritton of Bartow; son Leland "Lee" Albritton of Auburndale; daughter Beth Morgan of Bartow; three grandchildren Lauren, Matthew and Brian Morgan of Bartow; two sisters Pat Uliano of Orlando and Jerry Ann Jones of Bartow. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10. 2010 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the First Assembly of God in Bartow with services to start at 11am. The burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First Assembly of God 915 South Broadway Ave. Bartow FL 33830.
