Fern E. Elliotte

Mrs. Fern Elizabeth Elliotte, age 89 died Thurs. Nov. 20, 2008 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow of heart failure. Born December 12, 1918 in Rutherfordton, NC, Mrs. Elliotte was a resident of Bartow since 1984, moving from Waverly. Mrs. Elliotte was the owner and operator of Carlton's Flowers of Lake Wales for many years. She was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bartow. Mrs. Elliotte was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years Addie V. 'Jack" Elliotte and son Don Elliotte. She is survived by three sons; Ray & wife Judy Elliotte of Bartow; David & wife Ann Elliotte of Richmond, VA; Charles & wife Chris Elliotte of Tyone, GA.; daughter-in-law: Kay Elliotte of Davidson, NC, 2 sisters: Faye Nelson of Bartow & Helen Frady of Rutherfordton, NC; 9 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 23rd from 4 - 6 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Monday Nov. 24th at 11:00 AM at the Asscociate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Stanford St. in Bartow.
