Fannie M. "Myrles" Baker

Fannie M. "Myrles" Baker, age 96, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow. Born June 22, 1918 in Geneva, AL, Mrs. Baker was a resident of Homeland since 1953, moving from Alabama, She was a citrus sectionizer with Ben Hill Griffin Packing Plant in Bartow for over twenty five years. She attended Homeland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Malcom E. Baker. Mrs. Baker is survived by her son: Gerald E. Baker ( Sharon) of Bartow; a brother: Alcus E Aycock of Winter Haven; three grandchildren: Michael Baker ( Wendi) of Alturas; Steven Baker ( Erin) and Shari Wolfe (Jason), both of Bartow. and eight great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, January 19, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at Homeland Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rohr Nursing Home Activities Fund, 2120 Marshall Edwards Drive, Bartow 33830.
