Evelyn M. Vaughn

Evelyn M. Vaughn, age 79, passed away from heart failure Tuesday October 16, 2012 at home in Fort Meade. Born October 5, 1933 in Arcadia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Louise Marie Pelham. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frank Vaughn of Fort Meade, two sons; Freddie Barwick of Sweetwater, TN, Bubba Vaughn of Fort Meade, three daughters; Janet Parkus of Fort Meade, Linda Counts of West Lake Wales, Joann Lowman of Bartow, two sisters; Debbie Mitchell and Donnie Sutherland. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19th from 10AM to 11AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services will follow immediately at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home.
