Evelyn D. Summers

Evelyn D. Summers, 84, of Fort Meade, FL, died Thursday, Jan 28, 2010 from respiratory failure. A Native of Fort Meade, she was born April 7, 1925. Mrs. Summers worked in the Lunchroom in Fort Meade for the Polk County School System for 27 years. She was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard J. Summers. She is survived by her Daughter; Angela Fateley & husband Vincent of Fort Meade. Two Sons; Michael Summers & wife Shirley and Terry Summers & wife Jackie both of Fort Meade. Seven Grandchildren; Louann Browning of Brandon, Laura Williamson of Lake Alfred, Ryan Summers of Lakeland, Michelle Baker of Fort Meade, Chad Summers of Bonifay, Wendy Fateley of Sanford and Craig Fateley of Fort Meade. Eleven Great Grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, Jan 31, 2010. Funeral service will be at Oak Park Baptist Church at 11:00 am Monday, Feb 1, 2010. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
