Evelyn J. Raulerson

Evelyn J. Raulerson, 92, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland of natural causes. Born August 5, 1921 in Lacoochee, FL, Mrs. Raulerson was a resident of Bartow since 1941, moving from Terrytown, FL . She was a medical records clerk at Polk General Hospital for over twenty years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow and the Order of Eastern Star, Tropical Chapter #38. Mrs. Raulerson was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ryan Raulerson S,. a daughter Carolyn Sowell and a granddaughter, Julia Webb. She is survived by two sons: Roger Raulerson [Deena] of Lakeland; and Ryan R Raulerson, Jr. [Stephanie] of Winter Haven; a daughter: Jeanne E Raulerson of Bartow; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 11:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
