Evelyn V. Morris

Evelyn V. Morris, age 83, of Bartow, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born August 20, 1927 in Newnan, GA, Mrs. Morris has been resident of Bartow for 54 years, moving from Georgia. She was a citrus sectionizer for Orangeco Citrus in Bartow for over 25 years. She was a member of Turning Point Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hoyt Morris, mother: Pearl Braswell & granddaughter: Dale Bell. She is survived by her brother: Jimmy Braswell & Wife Lounell of Bartow; a granddaughter: Paige Naylor of Bartow; grandson: Brian Bell of Lakeland; three great grandchildren: Emma Naylor, Megan Naylor & Maddison Bell. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
