Mrs. Evelyn Mauney Hyde, age 92, of Fort Meade, FL, died Friday, June 6, 2008, at Hardee Manor Care Center in Wauchula, FL. She was born March 20, 1916 in Georgia. Mrs. Hyde was lifelong resident of Fort Meade and was of the Baptist faith.. She is survived by her Daughter, Mrs. Shirley Hyde Lunn and her husband Roy of Bartow, FL. One Son, Max Elton Chesser of Sebring, FL. One Sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hart of Bowling Green, FL. Two Neices Deborah Hart of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Monica A Stagg of Wauchula, FL. Eight Grandchildren; Stanley Chesser of Orlando, FL, Hunter Chesser of Lake Wales, FL, Robert C. Jenkins of Cincinnati, OH, Thomas H. Jenkins of Bartow, Michelle L. Jenkins of Bartow, Evelyn Maxine Chesser of Sebring.and Eleven Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, June 9, 2008. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, June 9, 2008 . Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
