Eva M. Norton

Eva M. Norton, age 86, of Bartow, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born June 1, 1923 in Jellico, TN, Mrs. Norton has been a resident of Bartow 1 year, moving from Winter Haven where she lived for over 35 years. She was an assembly worker for Copeland Manufacturing Corp, of Ohio for several years. She attended the Pentecostal Church of God in Winter Haven. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hubert Norton. She is survived by her son: Harold Hatfield of Bartow, stepson: Randel Norton of Toledo, OH; brother: Henry Shelley of Orlando; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
