Eugene Clark Moffitt

Winter Haven - Eugene Clark Moffitt, age 87, passed away January 6, 2023, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 21, 1935, in Wilkinsburg, PA. He was the Owner of Gene's Home Improvement and Repairs. He enjoyed genealogy, ASA Army research, and spending time with his family. Gene proudly served in the United States Army, he was honorably discharged in 1957. He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald Moffitt, William Moffitt & Thomas Moffitt, Jr. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Pamela Moffitt of Winter Haven, son Clarke Moffitt (Jennifer) of Katy, TX, daughters Cindy Kirkman of Winter Haven, Sandy Burks (Jeff) of Muncie, IN, Angel Bolton of Celebration & Elizabeth Tuten (Kevin) of Wichita Falls, TX, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a cousin, Laura Brown. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
