Etta Lee Cannon

Etta Lee Cannon, age 94, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was born June 26, 1930 in Sarasota, FL to J.W. & Trudy Pearson. Etta was in Ministry. She was a member of New Vision Worship Center in Zolfo Springs. She was an avid sewer, quilter and was very well known for her cooking and baking skills. Etta was a true prayer warrior and a wonderful host to visiting evangelists, family and friends. She was the living manifestation of a Proverbs 31 woman, filled with grace and elegance. Her peaceful demeanor in the face of adversity had a calming effect on everyone she encountered. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. C.G. Cannon, son-in-love Tony Smith and daughter-in-love Nancy Cannon. Etta is survived by her son Rod Cannon of Zolfo Springs, daughter Donna Smith of Sebring, two sisters Rosella Johnson and Idella Wrathall. Four grandchildren Vanessa O'Berski & husband John, Valerie Kline & husband Daniel, Chrystal McDuffie & husband Kenny and Rodney Cannon & wife Lindsey, twelve great grandchildren Charlotte Cannon, Ceaton Cannon, Caroline Cannon, Cadia Cannon, Cera Cannon, Haleigh Johnson, Janelle McDuffie, Julianna McDuffie, Eli Kline, Faith Kline, Kennedy O'Berski and Malachi O'Berski. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S. Seminole Ave in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Cornerstone Church of God. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
