Estelle Langford

Estelle Goldie Henderson Langford, age 84,of Fort Meade, FL, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, FL. Mrs. Langford was born May 2, 1925 in Florala, AL. She moved to Fort Meade from Zellwood in 1974. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Mrs Langford worked in the Grocery Business, after she retired, she worked as a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her daughter Melita Ann Davis. She is survived by Four Daughters-Juanita Prescott, Linda Faye Bailey, Iris Marie Darby all of Mount Dora, FL, and Wanda Sue Taylor of Sorrento, FL. Two Step Daughters-Elizabeth Surman of Jacksonville, FL and Joann Shelton of Murfreesboro, TN. Sister-Wynelle Watson of Belleview, FL. 15 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 13 Great Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, July 6, 2009. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
