Ermateen Edwards Harless

Ermateen Edwards Harless, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Lakeland. Born on July 10, 1934 in Eastman, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Gordon and Rebecca (Coleman) Scarborough. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Harless is preceded in death by two children, Sandra Strickland, and Hubert "Butch" Edwards. She is survived by four children, Linda Harless (Charles) of Bartow, Patricia Shull of Fort Meade, Deborah Edwards of De Leon Springs, and Dusty Edwards (Harmonie) of Glade Springs, VA. She also leaves behind her brother Eschol Scarborough of Pasadena, TX, 18 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
