Erma L. Bulman

Erma L. Bulman, age 87, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April, 20, 2016 in Lakeland. Born May 25, 1928 in Lakeland, she was the daughter of the late James and Doney (Combee) Smith. Mrs. Bulman was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Polk County. Erma was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Highland City. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Henry Bulman in 2002. She is survived by a loving family that includes two sons: James "Butch" Alligood (Rita) of Highland City, Lyle Bulman (Janet) of Bartow, five grandchildren: Shaun Alligood, Shelley Hagan, Brandon Bulman, Bryan Bulman, Brett Bulman, and four great grandchildren: Daniel Hagan, Allie Hagan, Bailie Hagan, and Clay Bulman. The family will receive friends Monday, April 25th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
