Emmy Lou Smith, age 47, of Fort Meade, FL, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, FL. She was born March 19, 1961 in Bartow, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Emmy Lou taught her family and friends many valuable lessons. She is survived by her Mother; Marcella Smith of Fort Meade, FL. Five Sisters; Ann Jones of Fort Meade, Kathy Hollis of Fort Meade, Jane Thompson of Fort Meade, Cindy Long of Brooksville, FL Margaret Stills of Fort Meade. Four Nephews, Four Nieces, Two Great Nephews, and Four Great Nieces. She is precdeeded in death by her Father-William Reuben Smith. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2008. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2008 , Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
