Emilio Hinojosa, Jr.

Mr. Emilio Hinojosa Jr. of Bartow, Florida passed away November 20, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He is processed in death by his Mother Josefa Hinojosa and Father Emilio Hinojosa Sr. Mr. Hinojosa was born on February 20, 1946 in Elsa, Texas and later moved to Florida where he married his wife Kay Carroll Hinojosa and was married for 51 wonderful years. They raised two Daughters together Anita Lyon (Christopher) of Lakeland, Fl., and Rebecca Cruz (Candido Hernandez) of Bartow, FL. Mr. Hinojosa worked at Kaplan Industries in Bartow, FL. where he was a Butcher for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends hunting, camping and fishing. Mr. Hinojosa was a family man, he enjoyed his nights out by the fire talking about old times with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Hinojosa is also survived by five Grandchildren Daniel Hinojosa (Elizabeth) of Bartow, FL., Kayla McKean (Kyle) of Lakeland, FL., Dalton Lyon (Kelsey) of Winter Haven, FL., Breanna Trejo (Marcus) of Bartow, FL., and Selena Lyon of Lakeland, FL. and seven Great-Grandchildren. One Sister Maria Miramontes (Arturo) of Bartow, FL. and one Brother Eduardo Hinojosa (Juanita) of Auburndale, FL. and many Nieces and Nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 25, 2017 at 10:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Rev. Joey Taylor Officiating.
