Elmer Clifford Hooks, Sr.

Elmer Clifford "Pee Wee" Hooks Age 86, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 2, 2016. He retired from Abraham Chevrolet after over 50 years of service. He was a charter member and deacon emeritus of East Chelsea Baptist Church in Tampa. He was a veteran of the Korean War.Elmer was preceded in death by son Clifford Hooks; parents, Clifford and Ina Lee Hooks; and brother Charles Hooks. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Muriel; son Jeff (Jan) Hooks; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel) Siao, Michael Hooks, and Jill Hooks; sister, Nell Hollingsworth; brother Larry (Vivian)Hooks; sister-in law, Susan Hooks and many loving nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Monday, June 6th from 5-7 PM at East Chelsea Baptist Church, Tampa. The funeral will also be at East Chelsea on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Cemetery.
