Ellen Smith Walworth

Ellen Smith Walworth, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, in Lakeland. Born June 7, 1953, in Hillsborough County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Selina (Wood) Smith. She attended the University of Florida. She worked at the University of Arizona in the Biochemistry Department before returning to Florida. She volunteered at the Sheriff's Girls Villa in Bartow. She enjoyed making jewelry. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Eugene and Doug Smith. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Smith Haley of Bartow and her step mother Ginger Smith of North Carolina. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
