Elizabeth Gaines

Lakeland- Elizabeth Gaines, died Sat, April 26, 2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of cancer. Born January 4, 1928 in Richmond, IN, Mrs. Gaines has been a resident of Lakeland 34 years, moving from Paris, KY. She is survived by her husband: William D. "Bill" Gaines; son: Keith Gaines of Lakeland; two daughters: Charlotte & husband William Lee Lawson of Vero Beach; Karen Gaines & friend Harry Wilkison of Sanford; two brothers Ronald D. Price & Authur Lee Price; sister: Betty M. Reynolds all of Kentucky; four grandchildren: Rickman Taylor, Jr, Hugh Taylor, Gregory Taylor & Shane Gaines; two great grandchildren: Wyatt Taylor & Jesse Gaines. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 29, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
