Elizabeth R. Flanagan

Elizabeth R. Flanagan, 93, of Bartow, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Life Care Center Of Winter Haven. Born July 3, 1917 in Watertown, NY, Miss Flanagan had been a resident of Bartow since 1980, moving from Watertown. She was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Watertown for many years. She was a member of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Bartow and the Mercy Hospital Alumni Association. She was a veteran of WWII and a member of the US Navy Reserve. She is survived by several neices & nephews including Stephanie Layton of Newburgh, NY; Patricia Stark of Rochester, NY & Mary Germaine of Pensacola, FL; a sister-in-law: Betty Flanagan of Pensacola. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Bartow. Interment will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown.
