Eldon Stewart

Bartow - Eldon Stewart , age 82, passed away March 3, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. He was born on May 28, 1940 in Winter Haven, FL. He worked for W.R. Grace for 24 years and then the Polk County Sheriff Department for 19 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Bartow. He enjoyed raising cattle, going to church, and building things. He was preceded in death by his sisters Joann Marsh & Joyce Oswald and son in law Tony Nichols. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Tacy Stewart of Bartow, daughters Becky Bridegroom (Ricky) of Bartow & Kimberly Nichols of Lakeland and grandson Brandon Nichols (Morica) of Lakeland. Family will receive friends Friday, March 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Bartow.
