Ekata Chhetri Hance

Ekata Chhetri Hance, age 36, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home in Bartow. Ekata was born on March 2, 1979 in Palpa, Nepal. She worked as a Programmer for the Polk County School Board. She is preceded in death by her daughter Aradhna Linda Chhetri-Hance in 2015. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Chris Hance of Bartow, son Rohan Michael Chhetri-Hance of Bartow, parents Gokarna and Ratna Gharti-Chhetri of South Palm Beach, brother Gaurav Gharti-Chhetri of Rochester, NY, sister Shweta Chhetri and husband Suresh Joshi of Boston, MA, and two nieces Sanna and Saini Joshi also of Boston, MA. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 15th from 1pm to 3pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow. A reception will be held, following the visitation, at the family residence.
