Lenox, GA- Effie Kinard "Tommie" Bronson, age 80, of Lenox, GA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Winter Haven Hospital of cancer. The daughter of John Arthur & Magdalene Kinard, Mrs. Bronson was born April 17, 1931, in Lenox , GA, Mrs. Bronson was a resident of Fort Meade from 1950, before returning to Lenox in 1980. She attended the Cornerstone Church of God of Fort Meade. Mrs. Bronson was involved in plants and gardening for many years. She was a manager of a wholesale nursery for several years. She is survived by one daughter, Catherine and husband Keith Windham of Lake Wales, a son, Fred Q. Sledge of Nixa, MO, two sisters; Rachael MacIntosh of Vero Beach, Pat Wiley of Lenox, GA, three grandsons; Kyle and wife Lynn Windham of Lake Wales, Kip and wife Nicole Windham of Orlando, Kent and wife Shelly Windham of Lake Wales, five great grandchildren; Abby, Hannah, William, James, Owen, cousins, and many, many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S. Seminole Ave, Fort Meade. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S. Seminole Ave, Fort Meade, 33841. Condolences to family at www.mcLeanfuneralhome.net, Mclean Funeral Home, Fort Meade in charge of arrangements. Services in Georgia will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 with visitation from 10-11:00 AM at Lenox Christian Fellowship, Lenox, GA, services following at 11:00 AM at the Church. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Lenox. Purvis Funeral Home, Adel, GA in charge of arrangements.
