Edwin L. Rickenbacker

Bartow- Edwin L. "Ed" Rickenbacker, age 77, of Bartow, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow. Born April 6, 1933 in Citra, Florida, Mr. Rickenbacker was a longtime resident of the Bartow area. He was a grader operator in heavy construction for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #3, Bartow. He is survived by his wife: Louise Rickenbacker of Bartow; daughter: Mari Ross of Vero Beach; son: David Bishop of south Florida; two step-daughters: Becky Braswell of Fort Meade & Sharon Stinson of Bartow; sister: Sylvia Tisdell of Orlando; 7 grandchildren & 1 great grandchildren.
