Edward Wiggins

Bartow- William Edward Wiggins, age 76, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born June 13, 1931 in Quitman, GA, Mr. Wiggins was a lifelong resident of Bartow. He was a supervisor for Alturas Packing Company for over 35 yrs. He was a Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Bernice Wiggins of Bartow; son: Michael Wiggins; daughters: Kathy D. Howard & Carolyn R. Wiggins all of Ocala; daughter: Lori & husband James Reyes of Bartow; sisters: Patsy & husband Jim Smith of Polk City; Ida & husband Wayne Shriner of Lakeland; brother: Horace & wife Glenda Wiggins of Fort Meade; 9 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12 at 2:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave, Auburndale 33823.
