Edward L. Runnels, Sr.

Edward L. Runnels, Sr., 87, passed away Thursday November 12, 2015. Born July 14, 1928 in Colquitt, GA, Mr. Runnels was a resident of Bartow since 1952, moving from Georgia. He was employed with Smith Brothers Oil Company for many years. He attended Bartow First Assembly of God. He was survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Runnels, Bartow; son; Lamar Runnels, Jr., Lakeland; two daughters: Linda Green, Hanceville, AL & Vicky Napier, Madison, WV; brother: Allen Runnels, Lakeland; 11 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM at First Assembly of God, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM at the Church. Interment will be held in Colquitt, GA.
